TYE KEDA (TK) FOUNDATION UGANDA
Our Story
TK Uganda was born from two hearts that hadn’t yet met, Daniel and Aleesha Ebwony each carrying a dream placed there by Jesus long before their paths crossed. After powerful personal encounters with God, both Daniel and Aleesha devoted themselves to ministry, each walking a journey of faith, healing, and service.
For Daniel, there was a vision: a haven for children in need, where they could find safety, education, and the care every child deserves. For Aleesha, there was a longing: to see young hearts healed from the wounds of early pain, through the love of Christ.
When the Lord brought them together in marriage, they shared their individual dreams only to discover they had been holding two pieces of the same calling. They began writing their hopes on paper, believing God wasn’t just inspiring them but weaving something beautiful through their union.
With few resources but a heart full of faith, they took a bold step forward, trusting in God’s provision for His people.
And now, TK Uganda stands as a testimony to that dream. And the story isn’t over: the best is still unfolding.

Why we Exist!
In the late 1990s and early 2000s, Northern Uganda endured a devastating conflict led by the Lord’s Resistance Army (LRA). This war left deep scars, widespread poverty, the rise of HIV/AIDS, and countless widows and orphans. Communities were uprooted, and access to education and healthcare became painfully limited.
Even today, Northern Uganda remains one of the most underserved regions in the country. Many children are out of school, and those who attend often struggle to afford even the most basic school supplies. Medical care is often far away or too expensive for families to access.
Beyond the physical needs, many young hearts feel lost lacking a sense of identity, purpose, and the joy of knowing Jesus. Challenges like alcohol abuse, drugs, and teenage pregnancies have become common, dimming the hope of a better future.
That’s why TK Uganda was born. We exist to restore broken stories, guide children to their identity in Christ, and offer practical help through education, food, medical care, and loving discipleship. We believe every child deserves to know they are not forgotten; that Jesus is truly with them.
